Hooton's a Fears a Foo

"Hooton's a Fears a Foo." That's Micah's version of "Horton Hears a Who." We were recently given the movie, about the same time that we were given the board game. It' really funny to watch Micah try to say it.

...but all that to say...the game is really fun! There are little clovers that you hide all over the house. But all the players have to hide them together, everyone needs to know where all of them are.

Then you play the board game, and some of the spaces tell you to go find a certain-colored-clover. Sometimes you march, sometimes you crawl, sometimes you run -- but you can't just pick the clover up when you find it. You have to put the Horton mask on and pick it up with the trunk. And all of that before the timer runs out!

So if you're looking for a fun family game, one that's active and fun for big kids and little guys alike, I'd recommend Hooton's a Fears a Foo. We've had a blast!

Oh yea!!! I'm so glad it's working out to be a fun game... I was worried about the "small pieces" with joey crawling around... but i guess those crawling around days are over, huh? :) Love you! Your family would be cute as an elephant family, too!!
