Some of my favorite pictures from November...

Micah is getting big enough that he's starting to learn some tricks! Here he giving a high five. I love this picture because you can see how neatly Conner has his crayons lined up. He does stuff like that all the time!
Like all good nine-month-olds, Micah loves cell phones. (Look at that hair!) Conner loves golf!
Too cute.
Micah climbed in Bret's suitcase. I guess he wants to go, too!
Conner is losing his britches!

Trying for a Christmas Card Picture

It's time (actually, past time) to start trying for that perfect Christmas card picture. We have so many friends and family that we haven't seen in so long now (Micah was only three months old when we moved!), that I want to get a good one. And, while I don't think I have the perfect one yet, here's some cute ones:

Gingerbread House

BooBoo sent a gingerbread house kit home with Conner. We got it out and put it together today. Here's a few pics:

Thanks, BooBoo! This was fun!

A Visit to Gammie and Poppy's House

When we left Yogi's and BooBoo's house, we got to spend a few days at Gammie's and Poppy's, too. And, as always, we had tons of fun.

Conner played golfMicah was finally able to catch one of the dogs (granted, it was Oscar, who is incredibly slow!) and pet him all by himself.
Conner made a tunnel with the couch, couch pillows, and coffee table. Both boys had so much fun crawling through it over and over and over and over...

Gammie, of course was baking, and Conner and Daddy got the beaters.
We had a great time!

A Visit to Yogi and BooBoo's House

We got to spend a few days at Yogi's and BooBoo's house for Thanksgiving. Yippee!

Conner learned to turn a flip, and he got lots of practice cutting, too.
Micah watched TV with the boys,
and got lots of Yogi cuddles.
What a good trip!

HeeHaw Day

HeeHaw Day is kind of like a carnival of sorts that Conner's preschool had today. All the kids were encouraged to wear their cowboy duds and participate in the fun:

Conner is looking tough, and ready to start the day.

Here we are on the hayride.Micah had lots of fun with the hay!Ready for the sack race......and finishing up! Here was the attempt at a class picture. Conner is right in front of the orange tree.
What a fun day!

A Trip to Florida

The boys are at Gammie's house for a few days, and Bret and I have found ourselves alone for the first time since we moved to Louisiana. We have been amazed that we are only three hours away from Florida, and have said several times that we should just pick up and go sometime...so we did! I know scenery pictures are kind of boring, but Florida beaches are a pretty big deal to we Texans. They are so much different (as in nicer and prettier!) from the ones we called home in Corpus Christi!
We tried to take a couple of pictures of ourselves...It was really windy!

Now we can say we did it! We hope to come back someday with the boys when it's warmer. It's pretty neat that we're close enough to get up on a Saturday morning, drive in, spend a few hours and eat a picnic lunch, and drive home!

Cousin Christian!

My cousin, Caleb, and his wife, Crystal, had their first baby today. The closest thing to a cousin that our kids have is mine and Bret's cousins' kids...and Christian is the first one on my side. We can't wait to meet him!
