A Day at the Lakefront

It was absolutely beautiful outside today. We decided that we just had to go out and enjoy it, so we went to the lakefront. We, of course, had lots of fun:

Yogi and BooBoo's

Yay! A trip to Yogi's and BooBoo's!

Yogi took us to Dinosaur Valley State Park:The river was actually even down enough that we could see the tracks well. Conner got to help Yogi in the garden. Here they are picking okra.
BooBoo was intending to make some cookies with Conner, but he wouldn't quit eating the dough. Here she was trying to teach him about "delayed gratification!"
Wheelbarrow rides with Yogi are always fun.

And, of course, we visited the "Yeehaw Slide" at the Dairy Queen!

Conner has been asking Bret to take him camping. Not wanting to actually get out the tent and brave it in the state park yet with a three-year-old, Bret improvised last night with candle smores and a blanket tent in the living room. They even got to watch Peter Pan while they were "camping!"
