Swim Lessons

We started swim lessons today. It's going to be a great couple of weeks - Conner and Micah have lessons at 9, and then Joey has Mommy & Me lessons at 10. They learned so much from their lessons last year - I'm almost scared to hope for the same from this year's lessons!

Burleson has a new community pool this year. It's at the new Burleson Recreation Center (the BRiCk), which is an entire workout/meeting place facility. It's very cool - and they have a childcare center where you can leave the kids while you workout...or while their brother is in swimming lessons! :) The boys were really excited.
Micah is already doing great. He's like the little leader in his class - what a difference a year can make! Last year it was a battle of wills just to get him all the way into the water. Now he's just having fun. Here they're playing carwash. The kids get to choose what kind of car they want to be (Micah chose tow truck) and then while the other kids kick, they swim through the splashes.
Conner is great. He of course just jumped right in and is having a blast, too. Joey is taking Mommy and Me lessons. We get Conner and Micah into dry clothes and then leave them in the BRiCk's childcare. Then Joey and I get some one-on-one time in the pool. He's doing great, too - a little fish in the making. Sorry no pics- Mommy and Me means there's no one to take pics!

I'm so excited that the kids are all so excited! Like I said, it's going to be an exhausting couple of weeks...but I'm hoping it's going to be a great couple of weeks!
