Orange Sherbet for Tigger!

We had a fun afternoon today -- Tigger got to come home with Conner!

The addition of Tigger to our afternoon/evening always adds some excitement...and today was no different. Since one of the responsibilities of taking care of Tigger overnight includes writing in his journal, we simply have to do something fun. You know, so that we can write about it.

So today, Tigger played Wii with Conner, ate drumsticks for dinner with Conner...and went to Braum's for ice cream with Conner! We "owed" Conner a trip to Braum's for another six weeks of nearly all "blue days" on his behavior chart. (For some of you oldies like me, it's the equivalent of not getting your name on the board.) Orange sherbet for all the boys, french fries for Daddy...and a fudge brownie sundae for Mama!

Then when we got home, Conner wrote in Tigger's journal. It was pretty cool to look back at our entries from Tigger's first and second visits. Conner has come such a long way in his ability to share a story in writing.

As always, thanks for staying over, Tigger!

Sounds like Tigger had a great time at the Wells Brothers. Tigger and orange sherbet...too cute!!! I love that all his classes have the "friend" to spend the night and write about.

Being able to look back and see what happened the last time and compare writing abilities...what a serendipity! (Although that's probably all in Mrs. Scarpello's objectives!)
